Summary

Two stories from Pinkville. In "Pinkalicious," a few too many pink cupcakes leave Pinkalicious turning pink from head to toe. In "Glitterizer," Pinkalicious tries out Mommy's new invention without asking — and a glitter explosion means owning the mistake and helping set it right. A gentle look at thinking before you act and telling the truth when something goes wrong.

  1. What happened when Pinkalicious used the Glitterizer without asking first?
  2. What could she have done differently before pressing the button?
  3. How did telling the truth about the mess help?
  4. When is a time you should ask a grown-up before you try something?

Quick work-a-long

Words to know: invention, mistake, honest, ask first.

Try it: Draw a picture of a time you asked a grown-up before doing something. Then tell a partner one thing you always ask about first.
