Terms of service

TV on a Rolling Cart is a free directory that helps teachers find vetted, classroom-ready videos. We do not host, stream, or store any video ourselves — we link to the services where each title can be watched. By using the site you agree to these terms.

The site is made for teachers and other adults choosing videos for their classrooms. It is not directed at children and offers no accounts or features for students.

Outbound links go to services like YouTube, PBS Kids, Disney+, and others. Those services have their own terms and content; we’re not responsible for them. Always preview a video before showing it to students.

Our safety notes and teaching guides are a good-faith, teacher-to-teacher resource, not professional advice. You are responsible for deciding what’s appropriate for your classroom and for following your school’s policies.

We host no video. Titles, artwork, and provider names appear here to identify third-party shows and where to watch them; all of it belongs to its respective owners. If you hold rights to something on the site and want it corrected or removed, use the Report button on the video’s page or the contact page — include the page link and what you’d like done, and we’ll review and act promptly.

The site carries a small number of third-party ads, which help pay for hosting. We don’t choose, endorse, or vouch for what appears in them, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them. Ads are always labelled and always sit at the bottom of a page — nothing about the catalog, the guides, or which titles we include is influenced by advertisers. How ad cookies work is covered in the privacy policy.

The site is free. Optional donations are handled by Ko-fi under their terms; donations are not refundable and grant no special access.

If something goes wrong, talk to us first via the contact page — most problems are fixable in a day. If we can’t work it out, you and we agree that any dispute arising from the site will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Both sides waive any right to bring or join a class action or other representative proceeding. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. This section doesn’t apply where the law doesn’t allow it.

The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you’ve paid us to use the site — which is nothing, because it’s free. We may update or remove content, or change these terms, at any time; the effective date above tells you when they last changed.
