Privacy policy

Effective July 27, 2026

The short version: no accounts, and nothing about you is required to use the site. Your preferences stay in your own browser. We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show a small number of ads — both set cookies — and the one place you can send us anything is the feedback form.

analytics

Visit counting

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many teachers visit and which pages get used, so we know what to build next. It sets cookies and collects the usual aggregate signals (pages viewed, rough location, browser type). We never send it your name, email, or anything you type. You can read Google’s privacy policy or block analytics with your browser’s tracking protection or an extension — the site works exactly the same either way.

advertising

Ads

A small number of ads — one at the bottom of the catalog and one at the bottom of each video page — are served by Google AdSense, and they pay the hosting bill that keeps the site free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve those ads, measure them, and (where the law allows it) tailor them. We don’t see who you are, we never hand Google your feedback or anything you type, and no ad network gets the preferences stored in your browser.

The ads are aimed at the teacher reading this site, not at students: this is a general-audience catalog for adults, so we don’t treat it as a child-directed service, and we block sensitive ad categories. You can turn off personalized ads for your Google account at My Ad Center, read how Google uses data from sites that use its services, or block ads with an extension — the catalog works exactly the same either way. More on why the ads exist at all is on the support page.

your browser

Your data, in your browser

Four things are stored in this browser’s local storage: the videos you’ve marked as watched, which streaming services your school can use, your last-used catalog filters, and the state you picked for standards. None of it leaves your device and we never see it. Clear it any time:

feedback

What you send us

The suggestion box and the report buttons are the only way any data reaches us: your message, and an email address only if you choose to leave one so we can reply. It goes to a private inbox read by the site’s admin, is never published, and is never used for marketing or shared with anyone.

children

Children

The site is built for teachers and other adults — it’s a general-audience catalog, not a service directed at children. There are no accounts and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The videos themselves are watched on other services, under those services’ own policies.
