Full-length episodes of the curious monkey, most around twenty minutes, each with a real question sitting under the mischief. George counts stars one at a time, builds a race car and revises the design, works out what gives his boat a push, watches birds closely enough to tell them apart, and dives to compare the animals living in the sea. A duckling decides he is its mother. Elsewhere he finds out what courage actually means, or plays detective with a handful of clues. The science, counting, and social-emotional ground gets covered without ever announcing itself, which makes it easy to hand to a preK through grade 2 room.
