Summary
Okay, maybe Santa Claus doesn’t actually live there — the tundra is still a pretty cool biome. Literally! In this BrainPOP movie, Tim and Moby will tell you just how cold the tundra can get as they introduce you to the two types of tundra and explain why the ground there gets so wet in summer. They’ll also show you some of the plants and animals that can be found in the tundra and point out where this biome is located on a world map. You’ll learn why the tundra can be called a cold desert, and get a vivid example of how fragile this environment can be. Make sure to bundle up!
