Summary

A what-a-gon? In this BrainPOP movie, Tim and Moby introduce you to some polygons you might have heard of and others that you probably haven’t! First off, find out what makes a polygon a polygon, and what segments and vertices are. You’ll also see some examples of what a polygon isn’t as you learn some crazy names for shapes you probably already know. Plus, you can find out how most people refer to shapes that have more than ten sides, as well as what to call a polygon that has both equilateral and equiangular sides. Finally, you’ll learn what an irregular polygon is. They’re just as good as regular ones!
