Summary
Odd Squad agents compete in Olympic-style "O Games" to decide who gets to run the precinct for a day — while Odd Todd schemes to knock each competitor out so he can shut Odd Squad down for good. The events test real math skills: skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s, finding different ways to add up to the same total, and following directions to reach the right spot.

Discussion
The O Games turn math skills into competition events.
- Which math skill in the games looked the most fun to you — skip counting, making totals, or following directions?
- Skip counting by 5s gets you to a number faster than counting by 1s. Why is that helpful?
- How many different ways can you think of to make the number 10?
- Why was Odd Todd trying to eliminate the other agents one at a time?
Quick work-a-long
Vocabulary: skip count, total, sum, direction, position.
Try it: Skip-count out loud by 5s up to 50. Then write three different addition problems that all equal 12 (like 6 + 6, 10 + 2, 4 + 8).
