Summary

Laying out data on a line plot can reveal patterns you otherwise might not have noticed. Every line plot starts with a number line that can fit all of the data points. Choosing the right scale will make plotting easier and make for the clearest visual. Each data point gets marked with a symbol above the tick mark representing its value. Line plots are great for seeing the frequency of each value in the data set. They’re also helpful for making comparisons between different categories. Press “play” to get plotting!
