Summary
Change is inevitable, especially when it comes to temperature. Hot things cool down, and cold things warm up. It happens because of heat transfer, the flow of heat from warmer objects to cooler ones. Heat can get around in a few different ways: conduction, convection, and radiation. They all have to do with the simple fact that everything in the universe is made of particles, and those particles are always on the move. As they move around, they take their heat with them.
