If a picture is worth a thousand words, graphs are pictures worth a thousand (or more) numbers! Graphs make mathematical data easy to visualize and understand. There are all kinds of graphs for different kinds of data: bar graphs and dot plots to compare items, scatter plots to see how one set of numbers relates to another set, line graphs to visualize change over time, and pie charts to find out how parts relate to the whole.
