Summary
Cassie and Moby are on the go delivering boxes of cookies, but Moby’s secret snack attack has left them without part of their order! Join the duo as they use mixed numbers to figure out how many boxes they have; how many they’re missing; and the distances they need to drive. Mixed numbers are made up of a natural number and a fraction. Adding two mixed numbers with like denominators is pretty simple: Just add both parts separately. But if you’re adding or subtracting mixed numbers with unlike denominators, you’ll first need to convert both denominators to be the same, using the least common denominator, before you can find the total sum or difference. Press “play” to learn more, and to find out whether Cassie and Moby have enough gas in the tank to complete their delivery!
