Tiny Teaching Tube

31 episodes

Short animated grammar lessons for the elementary years, each one taking a single convention and working it through with labeled examples and a quick end-of-video quiz. The catalog covers the building blocks of a sentence (subjects and predicates, complete sentences versus fragments, simple and compound sentences), then widens to nouns, pronouns, verb tense and subject-verb agreement, articles and prepositions, contractions, abbreviations, prefixes, homophones, and the punctuation marks that end and separate ideas. A host leads each lesson directly, so a teacher can drop one in to introduce a skill or to review before independent practice. Most run three to eight minutes.
