A Minneapolis band led by two former teachers, Adam and Kristin Marshall, writing two-to-four-minute music videos for classroom concepts and playing them straight, with real guitars and real hooks, openly indebted to Schoolhouse Rock. Most of what we carry is ELA: silent e, the q-and-u friendship, prefixes and suffixes, prepositions, adjectives, similes and metaphors, personification, fact versus opinion, the five W questions. The rest scatters across perimeter and area, classifying triangles by sides and angles, the water cycle, career day, and two songs about friendship and owning a mistake. Reach for one as the hook at the front of a mini-lesson.
