Four storybook characters with reading powers jump inside a familiar tale to solve a problem of their own, then spell out a super-letter word to unlock the ending. All eleven episodes we carry are classics: Cinderella, Goldilocks, Hansel and Gretel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, the Three Little Pigs, the Ugly Duckling, and four Aesop fables. Each runs about 24 minutes and pins the tale to a feeling a young child recognizes, whether that is being left out, being afraid of somebody bigger, or feeling different from everyone else. The retellings stay gentle; the wolf and the witch never turn frightening.
