Story Pirates University
38 episodes
Three- and four-minute creative-writing videos from the Story Pirates comedy troupe, delivered by a Story Pirates "professor" with a lot of kid-friendly humor. The set splits three ways: writing craft (piling obstacles on a character, building suspense, setting a mystery somewhere spooky, inventing a law and following the consequences), draw-along activities (invent a creature, design a spaceship, build a castle out of shapes, draw an emotional comic), and ensemble warm-ups like the Dome of Compliments. Each one names a technique, models it, then hands it back to students. Useful as a five-minute writing starter or a theatre warm-up.
