Silisox

14 episodes

Silisox is a channel of short, brightly animated explainers, most about two to six minutes, that each tell the story behind one thing kids are curious about. A friendly narrator walks viewers through the history of a sport like soccer, basketball, tennis, or karate, the story of an art form like ballet or the piano, how an everyday invention such as the telephone, bicycle, or lightbulb came to be, or a piece of science like the water cycle, snow, the seasons, rainbows, and the ocean. Each episode stays on one topic and keeps the tone full of wonder, so a teacher can pull exactly the story that opens the day's subject.
