A bilingual PBS KIDS preschool comedy about five-year-old Rosie Fuentes, who is just starting to work out how the world outside her family runs. Each half hour holds two stories, and the social-studies idea is baked into the plot rather than announced: opening a slime store means making goods and setting a price, a power outage becomes life before electricity, a car wash running low on water becomes a scarce resource. Others take on maps and directions, sequencing a bedtime routine, why a park was designed a certain way, family trees, and Dia de Muertos.
