Play in Color!
12 episodes
Play in Color! is a set of short, animated art lessons hosted by a friendly cast of kid characters who each introduce one visual-art idea at a time. Young artists meet the primary colors, warm and cool colors, and art words like geometric and organic, then explore what makes a self-portrait, an abstract painting, a cityscape, or nature art. Other episodes step outside to look at graffiti and street art, draw a familiar neighborhood block, and see how murals and community art tell a place’s stories. Most run two to four minutes, aimed at pre-K through grade three, and each ends with a simple make-your-own idea.
