On-Stage Basics
4 episodes
On-Stage Basics is a four-part introduction to acting for young performers, hosted by Mr. Ross at the Please Touch Museum. Each short episode takes up one tool of the actor's craft: Position names the parts of a stage and where to stand, Motion shows how posture and movement tell an audience how a character feels, Voice warms up projection and clear articulation with a tongue-twister, and Story turns those skills toward a character by asking what they want and why. Together they walk a class from warm-up to a first performance, one plain, do-it-with-me step at a time.
