Musication

136 episodes

Visual play-alongs made by Jan Vink, a primary music teacher in the Netherlands. Colored notes or icons scroll across the screen in time with the music, so every child sees exactly when to strike a boomwhacker tube, clap, or tap a percussion instrument. The arrangements pull from all over, among them the Blue Danube, Mozart's Alla Turca, Banana Phone, and a Halloween number about black cats. Many tunes appear twice, once as a boomwhacker chart and once as a rhythm or Do-Re-Mi version. Setup is close to nothing: hand out the tubes, press play, and the room performs together.
