KISSful Learning

23 episodes

KISSful Learning is a K-6 reading and writing channel that turns each grammar or comprehension skill into an easy-to-remember trick. The sentence lessons cover capitalization, end marks, commas, subjects and predicates, complete versus incomplete sentences, fragments, run-ons, and compound sentences, leaning on mnemonics like MINTS and FANBOYS. The reading lessons break down story elements, theme, summary, and characters, several of them while a favorite picture book is read aloud, then sort out the topic and main idea of nonfiction. A short Q and A clip shows how to answer a question in a complete sentence. Clear slides, a friendly host, and a quick recap close every video.
