Kindness 101 with Steve Hartman

21 episodes

Kindness 101 with Steve Hartman turns the CBS reporter's real-life feel-good stories into short character lessons made for children. In each five-minute segment, Hartman and his own kids introduce one virtue, from compassion and honesty to perseverance, inclusion, and gratitude, then tell one true story of an everyday person who lived it out: a Girl Scout who wouldn't oversell her cookies, a boy who fed the hungry in a cape, a class that built a playground everyone could use. Warm and quick, each carries discussion questions and a simple work-a-long, making it an easy way to open a morning meeting or a social-emotional block. Vetted for grades K to 6.
