iNative Shorts for Kids brings short documentary videos about Native American and Alaska Native life to elementary classrooms, made with Vision Maker Media and Native community members themselves. A friendly animated host opens each episode with a real question, then hands off to Indigenous farmers, fishers, archaeologists, and elders who show how their communities care for the land, grow and gather food, and keep long traditions alive today. Topics range from buffalo restoration and salmon fishing to heirloom seeds, wild rice, and ancient artifacts. Teachers can reach for these for social studies, geography, and Native heritage.
