How the Body Works

18 episodes

Animated shorts from Nemours KidsHealth, made with the studio FlickerLab, in which a girl named Chloe and her sidekick Nurb tour one piece of the body per video. Four to seven minutes each, and the coverage is methodical: bones and skeleton, brain and nervous system, heart, lungs, digestion, the urinary system, the endocrine system, the immune system, plus eyes, ears and hair. One episode handles healthy weight by saying plainly that bodies come in every shape and size. Pitched at grades 2-6 and detailed enough to carry a body-systems unit on its own.
