Joseph Hoffman teaches his free elementary piano curriculum straight to camera in videos of roughly seven to twenty-five minutes. This is a real course rather than a pile of clips: posture and hand shape first, then finger skips one pair at a time, the A major and A minor pentascales, staccato, time signatures including 3/8 and 6/8, and phrasing and dynamics. Pieces get taught in parts across several videos, first melody, then accompaniment, then the same tune again with pedal. Built for a keyboard station, a music center, or a whole-class block where every child has something to play along on.
