History Kiddos is a channel of short animated history explainers, two to four minutes each, that take on one topic at a time for elementary and middle-grade students. A narrator and a book-motif mascot walk kids through the story with illustrated scenes and clear title cards. The episodes here focus on the founding of American government: where the U.S. Constitution came from and how its three branches check each other, the big ideas of the Declaration of Independence, the freedoms in the Bill of Rights, and the Iroquois Confederacy as an early democracy. A quick, self-contained way to open a civics or U.S. history lesson.
