Brain Bites

10 episodes

Brain Bites is a set of short animated explainers that unpack one physical education idea at a time for grades 3 through 5. An animated host defines a concept, gives clear kid-friendly examples, and several episodes end with a quick try-it-yourself moment on screen. This run gathers the fitness-knowledge topics: the FITT principle, the five health-related fitness components, the skill-related components, heart rate and finding your pulse, and how to set a SMART fitness goal. Each clip lasts two to four minutes, so a teacher can open class, settle a group, or review a unit before a fitness assessment with a single video.
