Bluejack Kids

9 episodes

Bluejack Kids is a set of short, brightly animated social-emotional learning shorts, most running three to five minutes, that each take on one skill kids can practice. A cartoon guide walks viewers through a single topic — naming emotions and noticing they come and go like ocean waves, calming down with coping moves, building self-confidence, how the brain's thinking and feeling parts work, speaking up assertively, resolving a conflict, taking another's perspective, and setting a goal. The tone is upbeat and concrete, with simple on-screen steps a class can try right away, pitched to the elementary grades. Because each short targets one skill, a teacher can pull the one a morning meeting or a hard moment calls for.
