Baseball Basics is a set of short animated explainers that break the game down one piece at a time, made for kids rather than seasoned fans. In one to three minutes each, an episode takes on a single idea: how the whole game works, the nine fielding positions and why each sits where it does, defensive plays like the double play and the force out, and the terms and stats fans throw around, from batting average and the bullpen to no-hitters, pitch types, and the field's own dimensions. Clear cartoon diagrams show each concept in action, so a teacher can pull the exact clip that fits a baseball unit or a quick recess talk.
