Ask Sara the Scientist
5 episodes
Ask Sara the Scientist is a short question-and-answer science series made with the Ontario Science Centre for TVOkids. In each episode, science communicator Sara takes a real question a curious kid sent in — why does my heart beat faster when I run, how do heavy boats float, which way does a compass point in space — and answers it right on the science-centre floor with plain talk and a hands-on demonstration you can often try yourself. Episodes run two to three minutes and range across forces and magnets, light and the eye, weather and clouds, and the working of the human body. Best for grades two through five, these are quick, trustworthy explainers from a public broadcaster that turn an everyday wondering into real science a class can watch happen.
