Acting with CJ

6 episodes

Acting with CJ is a short beginner-acting series for kids, hosted by a young presenter who tries each exercise on camera and invites the viewer to follow along. Six episodes each take up one tool of the craft: warming up the voice and switching on the imagination with a magic-chair game, transforming into a character by changing voice and body, giving handmade puppets their own personalities, building a character through body language, a friendly interview with a stunt performer about physical acting, and a calm walkthrough of what to expect at an audition. A playful, do-it-yourself on-ramp to drama.
